Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any service, website, bot, or product provided by UndoIt (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and any policies incorporated by reference, including our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must not access or use our Services. Your continued use of the Services following any published modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Using anything we make means you've agreed to these rules. If you disagree, please stop using our services.
Our Services
UndoIt is an independent development team that builds tools and bots for online communities. Our current Services include:
- RickBot — A Discord security and moderation bot providing anti-nuke protection, raid shields, AutoMod, and link filtering.
- UndoIt Website — Our informational website at team.undo.it and any associated subdomains.
- Discord Community — Our official Discord server for support, announcements, and community engagement.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. UndoIt will not be liable to you or any third party for any such changes.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use our Services, in line with Discord's minimum age requirement. If you are under the age of legal majority in your country of residence, you confirm you have obtained parental or guardian consent.
By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and that your use does not violate any applicable law or regulation in your jurisdiction.
Free Services
All UndoIt Services — including RickBot and every one of its features — are provided entirely free of charge. We do not offer paid tiers, premium subscriptions, or any form of monetisation at this time.
Because our Services are provided at no cost, they come without any service level guarantee or uptime commitment. We do our best to keep everything running reliably, but we cannot be held liable for losses arising from downtime, interruptions, or feature changes.
Everything is free — no hidden costs, no premium tiers. Because of that, we can't promise 100% uptime, but we genuinely try our best.
Server Admin Responsibilities
Discord server administrators ("Server Admins") who add RickBot to their server take on responsibility for how it is configured and used within their community. By adding RickBot, Server Admins agree to the following:
- Transparent use. Members should be reasonably aware that automated moderation tools are active in the server.
- Appropriate configuration. Server Admins are responsible for configuring RickBot in a manner suited to their community, its rules, and its audience.
- Discord compliance. Use of RickBot must at all times comply with Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and any other applicable Discord policies.
- Accountability for actions. Server Admins are responsible for the moderation actions RickBot takes as a direct result of their configuration. UndoIt is not liable for incorrect, excessive, or unintended actions caused by misconfiguration.
- No weaponisation. RickBot must not be configured or used to target, harass, or harm specific users, groups, or external servers.
If you add RickBot to your server, it's on you to set it up responsibly and use it fairly. Misconfiguring it to harm people violates these Terms and can get you removed.
Acceptable Use & Bot Abuse
You agree not to misuse our Services. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:
- Attempting to crash, overload, or disrupt RickBot or UndoIt's infrastructure through spam commands, excessive requests, or any other means.
- Exploiting bugs, vulnerabilities, or unintended behaviour. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it to us via Discord instead.
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or accessing the source code of any UndoIt service without authorisation.
- Using RickBot to mass-ban, mass-kick, or grief a server you do not legitimately administer.
- Impersonating UndoIt, our team members, or RickBot in any context.
- Using our Services to distribute spam, malware, phishing links, or any other harmful content.
- Using our Services for any commercial purpose without prior written consent from UndoIt.
- Violating any applicable EU or local law or regulation in connection with your use of our Services.
Bot abuse will result in immediate and permanent removal from all UndoIt services, with no obligation to provide prior notice or explanation.
Enforcement & Appeals
UndoIt reserves the right to take enforcement action at its sole discretion, without prior notice, where a violation of these Terms is suspected or confirmed. Actions may include:
- Temporarily or permanently suspending a user's or server's access to RickBot.
- Removing RickBot from a server.
- Blocking a Discord user ID or server ID from all UndoIt services.
If you believe your access was suspended in error, you may submit an appeal by contacting us via our Discord server. We will review appeals at our discretion and are under no obligation to reinstate access.
Break the rules and we can remove you. Think we got it wrong? Reach out on Discord — we'll take a fair look, but the final decision is ours.
Intellectual Property
All content, branding, code, logos, graphics, and other materials associated with UndoIt and its Services are the exclusive intellectual property of UndoIt or our licensors, protected under applicable EU and international intellectual property law.
You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services as intended. This licence expressly excludes the right to:
- Copy, reproduce, redistribute, or resell any part of our Services or codebase.
- Create derivative works based on our Services.
- Remove or obscure any proprietary notices, branding, or attributions.
RickBot and the UndoIt brand are entirely independent and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, or the Rick and Morty franchise.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by EU law, UndoIt makes no representations or warranties of any kind regarding the Services, including but not limited to uninterrupted or error-free operation, correction of defects, or fitness for a particular purpose.
RickBot depends in part on Discord's platform availability and API. We cannot guarantee the effectiveness of any moderation or security feature, nor that all harmful activity will be prevented.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by EU law, UndoIt and its team members shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Services. This includes losses relating to:
- Loss of server data, members, or community standing.
- Unintended moderation actions caused by a Server Admin's misconfiguration.
- Unauthorised access to or alteration of server data.
- Any third-party conduct or content transmitted through our Services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, as required by mandatory EU consumer protection law.
Governing Law (EU)
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and applicable member state law. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the EU member state in which you reside, or as otherwise required by mandatory EU consumer law.
EU consumers may also access online dispute resolution through the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
EU law applies. If there's ever a dispute, it's handled under EU rules — and EU consumers keep all the protections they're entitled to by law.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice via our Discord server where possible.
Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
